I couldn't say goodbye

Tall trees all around
If I climb up will I fall down,
Up & up & up it makes me go
Till I scream let me go

I am in a big house, with a maze of halls,
I go round and round in circles,
looking for a way out of this hell
I want to leave, I want to go.

Sitting in the tall tree
I see the people around me
People lacking confidence look no-one in the eye
People with to much confidence staring
...

As a child I played nurse,
fixing my teddies ills and ails.
Stitching them up when they developed a leak
...

When I was a child had dollies and teddies
I played tea party and bookstore,
And followed mum around the shopping centre with my dolly in her pram
I had my pretend credit cards and they were the coolest thing ever.
...

As a child they tell you,
Be good, study hard
Be successful.
But what they never say is,

I dream at night
of having you here

I dream one day

Peace is something we all look for
But hardly ever find

Peace is what we dream for

it is where i can be the ultimate me
