I Walk Along A Moonlit Road

I walk along a moonlit road,
Alone without a friend.
And then the darkness grabs my arm,
And attempts to pull me in.

I begin to see what disappears,
And feel what isn't there.
I try to walk but do not move,
For black water grasps my hair.

The black turns to red,
That is all I see.
I want to pull away,
Yet if flows into me.

I walk along a moonlit road,
Alone without a friend.
But that's because I grabbed his arm,
And killed him once again.
