'A Rose By Anyother Name'
Look at me. You see yourself as a dandelion, one of many, and not at all special: Yet, still considered a flower by some.
'Fan The Flame'
Twenty-five years of marital bliss, Almost all of it good times, great times Like this. Oh, but we've had our ups and downs,
Oh, what fluffy cloud are you on, floating sky high... wonder what dreams may come, as I began to cry. And now the rain. I wish I was on cloud nine with you.
Beauty throughout, beauty within- Your beauty is unique, and lies deeper than skin. Physicaqlly, your beauty is stunning, and that's no surprise, but your most beautiful feature... Are those big, deep, dark, brown eyes.
Silent screams Echo deep inside my head Pain so intense, so deep You wish you were dead
I was watching the sunrise this morning... As the stars faded, the bright blue-orange glow filled me with warmth on this coldest of October mornings, and I felt part of something... The way the large late October moon faded below the mountains in the West...,
'The Serpent In The Grass'
The serpent lay hidden, coiled ready to strike. It's venom holding evil darkness that will hold no quarter- His body, camouflaged and seemingly invisible to the innocent.
The Darkness is all around me- It's so sweet and thick, you can cut it with a knife, They say that there is a light, at the end of the tunnel, they say there is Life
The darkness of predawn, how the cool wind bites my lips The stars winking at me, as my eyes adjust Feeling a slight numbness in my fingertips The drive in, filled with such solitude
Just listen... These words are my attempt to reach you. Without any of the resentment felt
'Bouquet Of Flowers'
“Bouquet of Flowers” The bouquet of flowers assume a lone place on the table,
'Be Careful What You Wish For...'
“I believe death is the ultimate freedom…I’d rather just have my freedom as soon as I can get it…” –Jodi Arias You’re the center of attention, you’re the star of the show, Your lies may have fooled them, but in your eyes-
Me- I stand against the cosmic Latte colored wall, my left leg crooked up behind me, holding my stance- Watching, like a chameleon- I blend in with the stains, unnoticed. Bored of all this hum-drum ho-hum, I'm ready to leave this poetic dance-
Silent Bird, whispering through the night sky- Searching for your prey with a keen, lighted eye. They are out there, hinding in the desert bush,
The smells of the Rodeo is always what got to me.
Sawdust and hay, sweat soaked leather, natural animal smells.
I walked between fences, there were fancied up cowboys, reciiting; no, chanting to themselves, gearing up for one last hoorah.
'Snap! ' My camera comfortable in my hands, ready for that Pulitzer Prize winning shot.
My eyes noticed an aged man, both physically and spiritually-
His arms adorned with faded tattoos, propped up on the bull's fence, thinking to himself-
