Without You

I feel lost and lonely
Out of control
Out of sight
Out of my mind
And a little bit dizzy,
All because I lost you.

You taught me to let you in,
To feel love for the very first time.
Helped me realize,
that I don't need a reason to smile everyday.
To not care what she says,
Even if it hurts.
To embrace every oppurtunity,
'cause there's going back to yesterday.

But when she drove you away,
all those things changed.
That day my heart shattered,
because now..
it lingers to hear your voice.
To feel your comforting touch.
To be wrapped in your laugh.

I miss you until you're mine once again.
I love you now, then,
and always.
Because you held be close when I cried.
You gave me somewhere to hide,
from all her lies.

But for now,
I just want you to know.
That your love healed my wounds,
and tended to my scars.
I've been blessed by your love.
But now,
I don't know what to do without you.
