Junior crying, sister petting

The sun is a furnace

Hot air, crazy street, foul stench
Puffs of smoke, acrid smell, unwashed stinking rags
Big craters splattering puddles, the mud, the flies
Refuse in the drainage, littered street and …
The swelling corpse,
I stopped, scared

Ran back in to the house
Sneaked in to the garden
Sat under the flower
Took a deep breadth
Then I dream
Of utopia.
