Kim is wacha call da best poetical person dere eeva was. She is very good at rymes, especially for a broad. She is also a hottie. She has da hots for me i tink. I already have a broad of my own. I hope Kim is not too bummed out. Thats life.

Kim Addonizio is my favorite modern poet. It's like she's in my mind and knows exactly what I would write if I had poetic talent.

Poem for the New Year
|
 |
So far it's suspiciously similar
to the old year: the same wild cold
wind circling the yard,
and that oozy substance
still clings to the carton of orange juice
I lift from a shelf in the fridge.
