Whistling a soft tune

Don't hasten the journey

its that moment when you don't
want to be touched or held or anything.
You don't want to have your friends
around you or even near you, .. not even family.

walking down a narrow path, unwelcoming and dark
I hear you
like your voice is echoing my heartbeats rhythm
I feel you
...

Care free spirits rising up, yet
Taken down by the greed and the insecure.
Lost to life in the sight of clarity amid the dark.
Change has come too soon.
...

Caressing flowers, and speaking softly.
Gentle breezes and mourning.
Crowd together, stand together, drink, toast and communicate.
Lay it to rest. See then? Do you see them?

I lost my heart.
I've lost my mind.
Been gone, my body.
Am I to lose spirit too?

I am but here
in a untilled garden
separated by the earth
