Displacement

Don’t know where she belongs.
A displacement with no ending.
Is home where you hang your hat? Where you rest your head?
Or is it of the heart? Where does the heart want to be?
Far. Far away from brokenness and unwilling sub servants of a greater power.
Losing faith, is there a brighter day? A day when trouble seem to slip away?
Does she find it at the bottom of a bottle or a bowl?
Is it somewhere else entirely?
Does she need church? A place that was always flooded with judgmental glances and hidden opinions.
But the one place she feels as though she may find her faith is off limits. Not allowed. Don’t follow.
For hatred may come from her acceptance.
if she accepts than she is sinned. Am I sinned anyway?
Sinner, what does it mean? Is it only a sin of the flesh, or a sin of your love.
Is your love only meant for so many or is love found in hidden places.
Beyond the trees, about the fields, above the world maybe?
Who really knows. For controversy is confusing to follow. With the end impending,
I am yours.
