Friends

Chelsea was so consumed with looking so great
her friends were concerned about her huge fate
she read all the magazines and did all the hair
almost the same but with her own little flair
she never looked bad always concerned about her looks
she cared so much that she neglected her school books
after some time looks were not enough
so she went by trying to get all the new stuff
her friends would frown ad shake their hands sadly
they missed the old Chelsea so very badly
she would ignore them for long periods of time
as if talking to them was such a huge crime
sometimes she felt bad for ignoring her friends
but she was to scared to make amends
her friends were so hurt but would sit back and sigh
because Chelsea wouldn’t be there because of a lie
they watched her become more popular each day
because she always had something hurtful to say
they saw her change in so many ways
the change that took place in a matter of days
they saw her parade around in her tight, little shirt
closing their eyes and feeling their hurt
but one day they saw the popular friend
alone by herself not following the trend
she had said something wrong and made the wrong choice
so they dumped her without her using her voice
she sat by herself sad and depressed
and when her old friends came she stood up distressed
they sat her down slowly and gave her a hug
loving this girl who had been squashed like a bug
they forgave the hurt and dismissed her pleas
for they new the continual love that charges no fees
they still loved her so much without a doubt
they had kind words where her old friends only shout
for they experienced the love that changed them so
someone they knew would never let them go
Jesus is so wonderful so full of love
a beauty only that came from above
they forgave her in full with all their kind hearts
so she would never be pray to the mean girls hard darts
