Life seemed to have gone slow today
Uncovering a reality one might say
Blinded by the thoughts within my head
Also Dulled by my thoughts i thought of something else instead

The songs of the animals
The spirits of the animals are all around
In the sky in the earth and on the ground
Peaceful spirits are here and singing
...

Trees droop down to the river, close to the river's edge
As you look closley you can see the rocks form a ledge
Look at the water see how it flows
Curving with the land and all that grows
...

Tell the most bitter twisted lies
Try and shrink me down in size
But I will not give in to your despise
Call me all the names you can think of
...

You knew that it was true
Yet i had not paid attention
I was off in a daze
But you still didn't know what to do
...

Why Does It Hurt So Bad
To lose something I never had.
To have these feelings and nothing to do.
Just to sit around and wait for you.

I wonder what's going to happen
I know what I want
I expect the worst
But I have no ideal what will really happen
