I walked upon this barren field
Only to for someone to say yield
I stopped and sighed
And he stepped aside

I’ve had blood shot tears for all these years
Only because I live with these fears
Not a day had passed by that I haven’t cried
Because of me my mother died
...

The shore, the shore
The Waves were all around
They and they rose and fell
We watched for ever more
...

Stop in front of me and stand
And look into his eyes, and his mighty hand
Before you he will hold your destiny
And will watch you for all eternity
...

Show me your hands, before me stands
Show me before I see
All I see is a stain, hands that are in pain
And I realized that the person was me
...

I know that when life is hard, i will always get through
But now life is hard and i don't know what to do
Everyday i wish for the best
I wish the day would just rest
