The sun is shining bright.
But within my soul,
There is black darkness like pure night.

The paid he hides inside drives him to the bar.
I hurt him really badly but I want to make things right.

As I sit here waiting as I'm always accustomed to waiting,
I can't help but think of you.
That smile and those beautiful eyes I could never forget.
As the days go on your memory fades,

No one understands,
Just the way I think.
No one understands,
Why I am me.

There are a lot of things I hate,
And they are so diverse.
I hate the air too hot to breathe.
Or the smallness of my purse.

I thought we had
It all within.
I was wrong,
We never did.

My hand meets yours,
Beautiful words are exchanged.
But it doesn't mean anything,
