I Will Get Up!

Those who have it all figured out
Who appear to have everything in place
Who are blind but they don’t know it
Those who put on a smile to keep up appearances
Those who laugh about other people’s failures
Who make other people feel inferior
But what have they achieved to think they are superior?
They are scared of taking any risk
Yet they advice people on what they call the “missing link”
Why can’t they use this “missing link” to their advantage?
They always portray a wrong image
As a way of deceiving people that they have everything
I would rather walk with nothing knowing I’m doing something
It does not matter whether I succeed or fail
Because real character is tested when we fall
So laugh all you want, but I’ll not hide
Because what matters to me is the fact that I tried
But the fact that I have failed before
Does not mean that I’m not good anymore
I might be down but I’m not out
Because I’m going to fight until I get it right
Don’t judge me by my past failures
Instead you should come to me for advice
Because through my failures I have learned many lessons
And one day I am going to get to the top
So don’t be fooled, I’m not going to stop
Even if I fall, I will get up!
