I step outside and feel the rain
It seems it's washing away my pain
I lie in the grass and stare at the sky
The pain floods back, I want to fly

When you left did you stop to think to think
That maybe, just maybe, you were killing a young girl
And all of her dreams
Her dreams of love and fate and trust

I wrote this song for my ex (while we were dating) it was inspired by my poem 'So Much More'

Some say it'll never work don't try, don't even bother
But I can see me with you always, together forever

They tell me I'm beautiful but I just don't see
What's so different and beautiful about me
When I look in the mirror I don't see beauty
I just see me, living life as a duty
