What was the love we used to share? A pain in my heart now.
For all the times I used to care? A bruise that leaves a scar.
They say I’m young and the pain will pass, the truth is I don’t know,
Because all the love I lost in you has left me feeling cold.

A Painful Blessing

What was the love we used to share? A pain in my heart now.
For all the times I used to care? A bruise that leaves a scar.
They say I’m young and the pain will pass, the truth is I don’t know,
Because all the love I lost in you has left me feeling cold.

Then from time to time you tell me how much you miss me and you care. you shadow me with hopes and dreams then tell me your not there. you get so deep inside my heart and it hurts to feel you near.
I lay for every word you speak and take it all by ear.

I know now what was done to you has made you who you are and though I may love u I feel the damage has gone to far.
I don’t know if I want you or if I’m willing to try much more.
But I do know what I’ve learned from this I’ll be ever thankful for.
