Leigh, I've read your poems and I must say I think you have a real raw talent. You know, we see tons and tons and tons of romantic heartbreak poems on this site. It's easily the #1 topic. And most of them are pretty mediocre. But the best of your poems - and they sort of feel like one long poem - have simmering originality and edge. My favorite ones are Here's the Scene, Bad Guys, Everyone is A Writer, and especially Blame it on the Highway. You sing the blues with a very special voice.
