Questions Of A Teenage Girl
I have so many questions. But who may I ask? Not Mommy, not Daddy. They wouldn't understand.
I'm spiraling in a circle. Up and down and in between. Comforting and hectic, Faster than what can be seen.
Mama Lost Her Job
Mama lost her job last week, She's devastated. She drinks a lot and smokes a ton. And oh yeah, is on anti-depressants.
Aspiration For A Child's Heart
I want to be happy, I want to be pleased, I want to be snuggled, I want to be teased.
The Fourth Demension
The fourth demension is time. The word, so powerful, Can mean anything and everything, Or nothing at all.
I picked up the photos, Ones of me and my friends, Then I smile and say, The fun always ends.
My Only Questions
Two houses, One home. Two houses,
My sun sets, As yours arises, You spread hate and sadness, I spread love and surprises.
A Happy Song
I have a cousin named Emily,
Whose dark hair is so long
And her big brown eyes are happy,
Singing a happy song.
Yes, a happy song,
Which isn't sang with words,
They're hums and tunes and melodies
Of thousands of singing birds.
