Whose dark hair is so long
And her big brown eyes are happy,
Singing a happy song.

Mama lost her job last week,
She's devastated.
She drinks a lot and smokes a ton.
And oh yeah, is on anti-depressants.

I'm spiraling in a circle.
Up and down and in between.
Comforting and hectic,
Faster than what can be seen.

I have so many questions.
But who may I ask?
Not Mommy, not Daddy.
They wouldn't understand.

So lovely,
So many,
Such choises.
Such power.

Havn't you ever wondered
What it's like to be a tree?
To see everything that goes on
Over so many years?

I am taking my online test.
But then the teacher stops me
And pulls me aside.
She ahs my paper in her hand

What?
You are testing my patience.
What makes you so important,
