Like I am
Losing so much time
Sitting

Slowly we can become one with the universe
To understand our place, our purpose here
Not constrict or tightening the muscle of resistance
At the very moment we feel it pull us in

We both know that we didn’t sign on for all of this
Life wasn’t suppose to hand us such a mess

We were going to defy the odds

Some days pieces of me feel like they are floating above
I close my eyes in hopes to gather them all in
Breathing in and out
...

If it where only you and me
We would be different
Then how we have become
So many years later
...

Why is it that we feel the need
To rewrite the story when it ends

Everyone we meet along the way
...

When you have all these thoughts
just running around in your head
how do you make sense of any one of them
Switching from analyzing this
...

It moves us to question our every thought
Leaves us weak
When we should be strong
...

What does it mean
To go through my life
With all of you by my side
Even when you are not physical nearby
...

Somewhere along the way
I came to the conclusion that my silence
My non confronting ways
Was a sign of weakness on my part
