Where The Rainbow Ends

The tranquil sound of the trickling stream,
The smell of eucalyptus fills the air.
The birds sing and the kookaburras laugh,
The tall gums cast shadows on the dry and dusty ground.

As the hot sun comes down to meet the land,
And night begins to fall
I roll out my swag and take my rest.......

The camp fire crackles
The stars now brightly dance in the black night sky
This is the pot of gold; this is where the rainbow ends
And my next adventure begins
