God can use the broken pieces
In an empty, wounded soul.
He can turn them into something
That is beautiful and whole.
He can take a heart that's broken
From a life that "could have been, "
Blend the pieces all together
To make something new again.
Like a colorful mosaic
Formed from bits of broken glass,
God arranges them together
To bring beauty from our past.
Broken lives and broken people
Have the chance to start again,
When they take the broken pieces,
And they place them in His hands.
For the Father uses all things
To work together for our good,
When we fix our eyes on Jesus
And are cleansed by His pure blood.
Give Him all your broken pieces,
Letting go of all your pain.
He'll create beauty from your brokenness
And hope to start again.
