there is sometimes i stair at my door
hoping you would come and see me

i just wished you would have been here a bit more
even though i couldnt find the words to save you
not enough to protect you

i remeber when times got to hard for me

put a song to help me feel better when you were
holding me in your arms and making the world go away

chains following right behind me
that there was not much to say whats left of me
i know why im here
reasons that would never make sence
your hands are slipping away
and the sound of your voice keeps me strong
but under these metal bars is only half of a heart
that we would never part
im your prisoner
thrown to the ground
kick, push, and beaten up
its your love that kept me alive
but these chains know who you are
and i know that wont ever be the same
and i look at the reflection of what was meant to be
its hard to love you when im trapped away
and all i can think is the memorizes of me and you
and all i want you to know is that
even if im gone
ill always love you for who u are
