Livinus weeping poet Okechukwu Poems

Have you ever been told¬¬¬
The tale of the wolf and the mid-night hunter,
A tale as dreadful as it could be,
As terrifying as the night owl,
...

A place of tears and sorrow life is.......
A frightening and passing dream life is....
A tear dropp in the eye of infinity life is...
A borrowed gift life is....
...

DEAR MOTHER,

I FEEL SO BAD RIGHT NOW, IN MY ATTEMPT TO STRUGGLE AND SURVIVE IN THIS BIG CITY, I STARTED WRITING THIS BOOK. MOM… ALL MY LIFE I HAVE BEEN A WRITER, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD STORIES TO TELL YOU……… BUT MOTHER FEW MONTHS AGO I STARTED WRITING THIS BOOK AND NOW MOM; I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO END IT…..
...

For five seasons we were out here in the cold winter,
For five seasons we fought,
For five seasons we bleed,
It was a war as dreadful as it can be,
...

For we have all tried,
For we have all failed,
It is one big fight we are in,
It is one eternal struggle,
...

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken winged bird,
That cannot fly.
...

Who could have ever predicted this?
Who could have thought about this?
If they were told, they would never reckon it,
They really thought it was the end,
...

MY NAME IS OKEY LIVINUS,
AND THAT IS THE ONLY NAME I HAVE,
I WAS BORN IN A POOR TOWN OF THE EAST COAST,
MANY MILES AWAY ACROSS THE RIVERS OF NIGER,
...

Someday all these will end,
Someday it will all end,
Someday I will walk away from all these,
Someday I will hit my chest and nod my head,
...

What a life!
What a moment!
So finally this is were I am,
I wish I could turn back the hands of time,
...

To you that stood by me at all times,
To you that showed me love and kindness,
To you that gave me peace and joy,
To you that gave me hope in my moments of despair,
...

PRONE TO DEATH, SLAVE TO GRAVE,
SOLACE BENEATH THE FROSTY CAVE,
WHY WOULD COSMOS FATE ME DOOM,
AND ENGROSS MY LIFE WITH GLOOM,
...

The Wolf And The Mid-Night Hunter (The Prey And The Predator)

Have you ever been told¬¬¬
The tale of the wolf and the mid-night hunter,
A tale as dreadful as it could be,
As terrifying as the night owl,
It is simply a tale of conflict,
A conflict of interest.

The wolf and the mid-night hunter,
Both habiting in two different places,
One from the home, one from the jungle,
But both with a common purpose,
Both feeds on each other,
Both feeds on flesh.

The wolf and the mid-night hunter,
The two is out at night perhaps to find greener pasture,
When the sun is gone from the sky,
When the moon brightens the dark night,
When the night is cold and silent,
When the air is sweet and fresh,
When the world fell ill and serene.

Man and beast alike
Wanders through the jungle,
Piercing the silence of the night,
Both have one agenda,
One purpose, one goal.

The thirst for blood,
The quest to conquer,
Both eyes blazing out fire,
The zeal and readiness to kill one other,
Man and beast, they search the bush,
They scoop every nook and cranny of the jungle,
From the top of the mountain, to the depth of the valley,
One of the two must die to night.

The prey and predator,
Either man or beast will lose its life to night,
Slowly the man pulls the trigger,
Fiercely the wolf howl,
The man must kill the beast,
The beast must feed on the man,
Who will be the prey,
Who will be the predator

Good day brother. Please tell me of your life, today and the past. I need to know of someone else's troubles and successes, for I'm weary of mine. Rick
