and the night sky calls the coldness in,

Tiger stripes on her legs, glitter clips on her head,
she wanders purposely over the terrace.
One shoe gripped in her hand, the other left in the sand,
and she couldn’t care less.

Don’t look as we fall,
just hold on to me and don’t let go.
Feeling the wind bite your skin,
don’t give in because we’re on our own.

Here I am, sitting at the table.
It’s been a year, don’t know how you were able
to keep me missing you all this time.
