So far my lover shall be away
I bear now the pain of solitude today

Cruel fate has it to tear us apart,
Ripping this gentle heart from sane

I loath the breath spoken for our untimely goodbye

Condemning my lips with sweet memories
But my heart, high and dry

I awake at the early hours of mourn
Pitying my wound left by your thorn
To ask this unforgiving world why

How could the sun rise in the east,
The bird sing so delightfully at ease,
When my shattered self feel so deceased

But in that summer already a distant blur
Blinded by youth, love, lust, and liquor

A promise was made

A promise to which i swear to this compassion beating within my chest,
The longest nights of my torturing conscious all but at rest

That if you still remember about that ballet
I'll come and find you
My lover so far far away.
