a riot of colors from brown
to crystal dew.

that sings from its heart and beckons me to hear its honey-bluesy song.
When I try to look it stares back at me with black, beady eyes,
plumaged in turquoise, teal, bronze, emerald green and purple

enticing delphinium

One spirit rising

spinning wheels of light bridging

The Christmas Star is glowing
held in the Angel's hands
