I am Lyle Ashwyn Holland, initials: L.A.H., alias Love_And_Hate. I am a RAPPER/POET. I have done work as a rapper artist before signing up on this site, although I've always shared a love for poetry. After all, rap is poetry as well. But rap was getting bored. For me and poetry always seemed more deep. So I decided to try preparing some poetry of my own too. Its something everyone can relate to, its just like the simple lyrics to a song without a beat but it does share the rhythm like deep words of a poet flowing off the pounding from a drum, the same way these words from my poetry flows out through the pounding of my heartbeat. Well, anyway, this is me, my poetry, my passion of it, my love and my heartbreak, my life, my despair, my experiences, my stories of good and evil, pain and joy, all of the 'Love And Hate'_ The yin and yang. 'The Great Escape'

They say 'You don't know what you got till its gone', Well that ain't the case.
I already know what I have with you,
But living here just ain't safe.
I have to escape.

Though from you I won't be gone,
Baby not even for too long,
So baby till I get back to you,
please be strong.
This my poem, I already wrote you a song.
To keep you safe in the cold, plus warm.

You still the only one for me,
You like a book of sweet poetry_

But understand me moving,
Doesn't mean you'll lose me.
I know right now its confusing,
But you can't imagine what it does to me.

This is all for the best,
Though we'll see each other much less.
But if I stay here, I'll face this mess.
And might even meet my fate in death.

Its not safe here. And its safer there,
I just wanna be anywhere but everywhere.
And though you think I don't care,
I do but this world is just not fair.

So I have to escape the danger,
I just want my family to be safer.

Is that so bad, please understand.
I'll still make an effort to see ya as your man.
I have to do the best I can,
And we'll see each other when we can.

I'm not going to my grave yet, but I will if I don't make escape this neighborhood_
Baby understand this is bigger than us,
It all out of love and for the greater good_

But I won't be gone forever.
I'll be back because I'll miss your touch, your love and all the pleasure.
You act as if you'll never see me because I'll be dead. But I'll die if I stay here_
I can't pretend like I won't miss you,

This is the home for the brave,
But even the brave ain't safe.

So dangerous, People rob and shoot to kill.
I can pray to God, but this is far too real.
