If You Only Knew

If you only knew how much time of the day
I casually spend thinking away
About your smile, your smell, and your eyes.
And all of those days, you don't cease to surprise
Me or the world, with your view on tomorrow
Even if today was filled with sorrow.
You know how to find that place in my heart
Where, for so many reasons, you won't depart.
Sometimes it can hurt, but it's overwhelmingly great
Because this feeling I get, only you can create.
And I know you still hurt, but surely someday
You'll find another, for whom you feel this same way.
I have not a doubt of this in my mind
Because there is a plan that God has designed.
And He can't be wrong in what it may be
Because He made you, and that makes me see
That you are an angel, any man would agree.
There's no other I know that gives me this feeling
I guess that's the thing that makes you so appealing.
I can only dream that you feel this way too
It would make me complete, Oh If You Only Knew.
