As old scraps of newspaper
ready for the fire
She waited for her lover
to fill her heart's desire.

If I had a nickle - I would spend a dime
I didn't have much but I was just fine
The phone rang, I still remember the call

Never Give Up

As old scraps of newspaper
ready for the fire
She waited for her lover
to fill her heart's desire.
But as the starry sky above
flickers by and by
He did not feel the same love
but she would always try.
And as the small green apple
in time grows red and full
This love was gonna take a while
'cause he was stubborn as a mule.
Love Me Forever Love me forever
especially today
Because I really
need you now
to help me through
the first transition
of a cherished kiss.
