Aaliyah's birth name is Aeliyatt Dani Haughton, born on 16th January,1979, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. Wish I didn't need to say this, but Aaliyah passed away on the 25th of August,2001.
Aaliyah lost her life in a light-plane accident, travelling back to the US, there were a number of people accompanying Aaliyah, the pilots also died.
Aaliyah will be remembered as a happy & outgoing person, here attitude was nothing but infectious, 'enjoy life to the fullest'...... etc etc.
Aaliyah's nickname was baby girl...given to by her father.
Aaliyah's music was driven by her beautiful soaring vocal, all her tracks were meaningful and very deep. One of my favourites is 'Age aint nothin but a number'.
What a beautiful opening, her whispers…one of her best....
The moment I heard of Aaliyah's death, well been a long time fan, I was glum within for a while…
God bless Aaliyah and all souls who lost their precious lives on 25th August,2001, it is still sad to not hear/see her.
