Frank Sinatra

The best ever in all that he has done in the music industry and Tony Bennett is right there with him. Pretty good darn actor as well (The Man With the Golden Arm) .

There have been many public tributes to Frank, but here is a private one (of sorts) . This genius of the portrayal of romantic music has lived in song with me, and the boy who came into my life almost sixty years ago, and expressed, with such finesse and eloquence our feelings of love and devotion that Frank will ever be in our memory. He is still The Voice for us.

Mr. Sinatra spoke to me through song like no other singer ever has. He is the
greatest interpreter of The Great American Songbook to ever 'come down the pike.' As Pete Hamill stated so eloquently in his book, 'Why Sinatra Matters, '
'....high art always survives. In their ultimate triumph over the banality of death,
