One of the greatest songwriters of our time. Have never had the pleasure of seeing him perform live but I do love his music. 'Moondance', Wavelength', and 'Into The Mystic' are three of my favorite songs of his, although they're all great.

To me Van Morrison is the ultimate Singer Songwriter, Musician, his lyrics are pure poetry that must emanate from a higher plain such as faith or through meditation. Pure genius- Pure Genius!

There is only one man alive greater than Van Morrison, that is Bob Dylan! ! I love you, Van, and I am so grateful for your voice and your poetry! ! !

I am 53 years old and three years ago i was told i have 5 years to live. I have cancer that has spread, i've been doing chemo for the las three years, and thank God i'm doing very well. My one wish was that i would get a chance to see Van before i left this earth, and my prayers were answered. He came to Minnesota in May, and i was there. This man is awesome, he can sing anything. All i can say is thank God for Van Morrison. I'm having a couple of his songs played at my funeral, what a way to go. I love you Van, and thanks for your great music, and your great voice
