The agonizing sight of her eyes on me
Blood runs cold on this sad, sad night
As people everywhere cower in fright

Jealousy, like a fire
burns deep inside my body.
Biting, clawing, striking,
like a hungry monster.

The abyss in your body, right above your left breast
Dark and cold, no room for warmth
It seeps blackness throughout the rest of you
Leaving me shivering beside you

I bite my lips to hold my tongue
Longing to say what we know as true
You look at me and await an answer
The mood we’re in is sad and blue

Your bleeding heart beats inside my chest
The smile I know only you know best
You see the pain inside my eyes
You see the beauty in all my lies

A fake smile plastered on the face of a child.
A silent scream echo's inside her head.
An invisible tear soaks her porcelain smooth cheek.
