Biography of M.D DINESH NAIR
A poet in search of a revival of those thoughts which made him wonder about KEATS and SHELLEY... Next he is one who teaches English to a crowd of bubbling youngsters... yes, He is M.D DINESH NAIR.He pens down poems quite rarely.
He is a native of Trikkur in Kerala.He had his school education at Govt Pavakkal Primary School, Kurianad and Kurichithanam High School [both in Kottayam District]and at Sarvodaya High Shcool, Trikkur in Thrissur District.
He did my graduation and Post graduation in English literature from St Thomas College, Thrissur.
A winner in various versification contests and short story writing right from the Pre university level upto the university level, he started writing right from the pre-university days.He was an active participant in students union activities of SFI as well.He used to contribute poems and stories to the A.I.R`s Yuvavani Programme.
He took a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism and Communication from The AICCS, Kolkata.A socialist at heart he was sad when the U.S.S.R got dissolved. But the unification of the German lands gladdened me. As a poet with no commitment for the conventional norms of poetry, he chooses themes sourced from images close and far.
He left Kerala and got in to teaching profession by joining Nalanda Junior College at Vijayawada in 1990.At present he is working as a Lecturer in English at Sri Chaitanya College, Vijayawada, A.P.
He continues to pen down poems to pursue a track of social and personal entity.
Coming to things personal he lost my mother when he was barely three years old.His father and sisters live in Thrissur. Settled at Vijayawada for now he is married to Mini and has a daughter Keerthana.His daughter too writes poems now and then.He invite your frank comments and suggestions on his poems.
He has written 'A GLOSSARY OF'POETIC'TERMS'which is supposed to be of immense use to the visitors to the POEMHUNTER.COM.
He does not believe in the existence of any cosmic order and consider the existence of the universe as a matter pertaining to solid science and would not subscribe to the notions of creation and protection by God.
With people of some good wave length of thoughts he would like to maintain friendship.
