Madeline Karnes Poems
To My Love
It's you. It'll always be you. You're my own personal definition of love. I didn't know what it felt like,
It’s been exactly a year, On this very same night, That he met that shy girl With blue eyes shining bright.
Only A Few True Friends
Look at those, Those that desire to be heard. Those who cling to the concept, Of being known and praised.

To My Love
It'll always be you.
You're my own personal definition of love.
I didn't know what it felt like,
To be so passionate about something.
Until I met you.
Everything about you.
Your faults, your perfections.
They're what makes me love you so.
You aren't perfect, my love.
But neither am I.
But we're perfectly imperfect together;
And created for each other.
You'll never understand;
How much of an affect you have on me.
I love your brown eyes;
And every fluorescent glimmer of gold,
That look at me with genuine adoration. ...
