as a lonely bird

Darkness is like the dark bird
Into its bosom i hide my face and seek refuge
Oh darkness, give me your mighty wings
A child of midnight, into the dark skies furiously i shall fly

A tap on the shoulders recklessly
tempting are the stranger paths,
fate beckons that intrepid adventurer in me.
