Sad And Hurting

I'm sad and hurting right now
I know why and how
I had a gift from above
He is my one true love
I was not true
He very much knew
I am feeling like dirt
For causing his hurt
I broke his heart
I can't stand being apart
I long for his touch
I miss him so much
Though I've very few regrets
This is the biggest one yet
I hope and I pray
Again we'll be together someday
Still to the end
He is my best friend
