Biography of Malay Roychoudhury
Malay Roychoudhury is a famous Begali poet known for his special eclectic style of poetry and denarrativised novels. He, along with Debi Roy, Samir Roychoudhury and Shakti Chattopadhyay had launched the Hungryalist literary movement which changed the course of Indian Bengali poetry once for all. He was met by such luminaries as Allen Ginsberg, Octavio Paz and Ernesto Cardenal among others. He writes both in English and Bengali.
