A Half Of Me

She entwined her hands to mine for the last time,
and moved away as if she was never mine.
Puffed some air and realized that emoticons
are about to die once again.

Plea was made by me for a survival chance,
but all she could gather up the glance
to deny. Solitary in soul and abstinence from
affection was the decision again and main.

Finally she bid adieu and left with a sway,
leaving me with about to drop 'tears' and made her way.
Devastated and shattered with her step
and then drowned in the thoughts.

Then the day came, people gathered in a
crematorium and I lie in between the prey.
Hundreds of eyes were looking at the center of
attraction and tantrums by pundit were bought.

The prey caught the fire so hastily that it
made sure, it finishes in seconds and ashes flee.
The kid around me shook my finger and murmured
'Who was he? ', and I gasped, clenched my teeth and said
'a half of me'.
