Hi Manong MD,
You are a very versatile writer and you have been my inspiration to write in our dialect since I started reading your works in Pangasinan Online. Mas lalo akong naiintriga sayo. I wish I could meet you in person and see who is behind the keys (pen) . When I read your poems, they always make my day. Responding to your poems is even honing my knowledge and ability to speak our dialect.

light of the moon
|
 |
shy cricket runs beneath the leaves
awe with moon searching for seeds
tiny antenae wiggles for safe passage
find frog’s sticky tongue on her legs
sudden jump; leg left behind for a meal
sigh not, it’s okay; it will surely heal
powdered leaves shower ground
left with a slender stick on hand
