Four Legged Friend

Who pee'd upon my nice clean floor
And chewed my shoe till he was sore
Pining and howling when left alone
Never out of key always in tone

But all would change when I appear
The first to greet me with good cheer
Jumping and fussing what a welcome sight
My life long friend my shining Knight
