The Puzzle

We were making a puzzle
so much time was spent
in putting the pieces together

So much effort
to make it right
But it was left in the middle
and now

some pieces are lost
most are scattered around
taking up space in my home

Should i keep it as it is?
or brake it apart
and throw it away?
i do not know

We were making a puzzle
It could have been beautiful
if only
we had tried a bit more
