Mothers Day!


I wanted to tell you how much I miss you.
But I will hold it back, mumble it to myself
I wanted to hug you, and tell you
What joy I have right now.

I dreamed of seeing you last night.
Your silver hair, oh! Your smiles
Talk and share stories
But I know it has to wait.

I wish I could run to you again
For favors and little things
Little stuffs that would titillate my soul
But I can only whisper it in the wind

I will never stop dreaming
I will never stop hoping

If you only knew
What I am feeling right now
Will you cradle me back into your arms
and call me.... my child?
