She once flew through the sky
Soared past the big bright sun
Never thought of how she might die
All until she decided she was done.

The song of a prisoned daughter
Is not a pound of a drum?
But the fast heartbeat out of fear
...

The rain has come, my dear,
from light falls to darkness
the flowers looking to the sky.
...

Where am i today?
my mind surfing waves
in a sea of questions.
Yet something in my chest
...

They talked of Bravery and choice
Seeped out into the forbidden
I could hear the sadness in their voice
But I pretended as if it were hidden.

Where I’m from is a place full of wonder and light.
From the streets of Paris in the day, to the ifle tower lit up at night. The gleaming faces around me.
From the trampoline as a child, to the garden and its glorious blooms. The sounds of birds chirping and singing their tunes.
From the letters in my books, to the astonishing pages with the unwanted endings. The graceful poets and there mending’s.
...

Privacy invaded
Life spread out on the floor like carpet
Plots planned to destroy my youth
Loyal to not one promise made
...

I lay in my bed
windows cracked and shattered
they wished I were dead
as they petered and pattered

Those tears you cry are only salt and water mixed,
That pain you feel can be fixed,
The only remorse is those who are broken,
The things you say are words to be spoken,

There once was a bird of all colors
She was the most beautiful sight.
They kept her in the cellars
Thinking it was right.

Each day is the same
Laughter, names, and tears.
I cry thinking its all so lame
and I wake up with the deepest fears.
...

Hushabye baby
I'm under your bed
I grant worst fears
And my eyes are red.

What's that I see from afar?
A candle lit up in the night
There it sits in a glistening jar
Filling the water with light.

The wind was blowing as fast as a hurricane
Trees collapsing, houses tumbling
Earth had truly gone insane
I could here the demons mumbling

I sit in tears in this hell called home,
Begging for mercy at the feet of one man.
Whose heart has yet lacked to roam?
Bruised and bleeding running as fast as I can.

The silence screams at me.
The moon weeping,
watching as i crumble

Misguided minds of those who fuster
live in a worldly cluster.
Complaining increases disability,
fogs your visibility.

The sky is dark and scary,
the river is sad at night.
The area is covered in prairie,
the land is filled with fright.

Broken and limp as you drag me into the past.
What comes late from long ago no longer has meaning, yet I’m chained to this post and you make it all last.
You allow me to suffer, and keep bringing attacks.
The capacity to forget is what lacks.

Peer out my window
Look out just to see
Gone has the white snow
Its finally done chasing me.

Broken Butterfly

She once flew through the sky
Soared past the big bright sun
Never thought of how she might die
All until she decided she was done.

Her colors were so bold and shining
Kept at a steady pace
Her wings neat with a silver lining
The sorrow now shows on her face.

Every wakening day
She was dining by the creek
Now she don’t know what to say
Her lost happiness she wishes to seek.

Now she lays all day and morns
Can’t get off the ground
She sighs feeling very forlorn
Her head pounding with every sound.

Wipe away your tears
Get down from your high
I know you have pain and fears
Oh please, broken butterfly.
