I watch you walk away, the clouds dark and crying for me
I run toward you, arms out stretched
You stop and turn toward me
I reach for you but as I go to touch you
My arms go right through you
You disappear, you're gone
I fall to my knees wishing I could have told you
How much I love you and how sorry I am
But it's too late
The pain builds up inside, all my burdens, my regrets
Causing the tears I shed to fall
I look to the heavens screaming out
Wishing I could bring you back
My eyes close letting the rain fill my lungs
I open them to see water around me
I gasp for air and look to the surface
It's so far away, so bright, so beautiful
I close my eyes again
Seeing your smile, hearing your laugh, toughing your skin
I let the light engulf me
Let it take my pain away
I'm free from the burdens, the pain, the regrets
And now I watch you from the heavens
Life so over rated, so painful
For a bliss second so happy and then everything changes and
Everything's gone, leaving pain and suffering
At least in heaven theirs no suffering
No regrets
No pain
