Heavy day laid with bricks

Well sometimes the wrong can be right
You close your eyes to see the light
Standing still to move around
Plug your ears to hear the sound

As the wind howls outside and the walls moan with passion
The ground draws me into it and cries for my soul
What's left of the moon disappears behind the clouds
And then emerges again brighter than ever,
...

She calls out to the face in the mirror
And runs her fingers down the varnished frame
Then she lights a cigarette and inhales deeply,
Leaving the lighter lit and staring into the flame.

Tick tock
Said the clock,
Until it stopped
...

Cry a river
Then fall on your sword
What you end up with
Will be your reward
...

Casting my mind out to sea
It's like looking for a positive thought
In an ocean of Negativity,
The waves, Crashing into the stormy sky
...

After what happened before
I'm glad I'm not where I was earlier
Lucky I was late.
So late that I caught tomorrows worm
...

We all share in pain and in fears
We all care we feel rain and tears
We are after all Human beings,
So why do we close our eyes?

I looked through your window
And saw your solar-powered platform shoes
You were still inside them and that gave me the blues
Because you were dead,
