Mother nature

The moon's light pierces the night's sky
the stars twinkle, like billions of newborn eyes
I lay in a blanket of green silk
amazed by the beauty that surrounds me
trees dancing in the cool summer's breeze
it covers me, as if mother nature is hugging me
in that moment, I'm one with her
I close my eyes and listen to her voice
my ears are filled with the music
of which the choir of frog and crickets sing
I open my eyes to see fireflies
illuminating their beat
I take a slow and deep breath
I can still smell the rain that fell earlier
I can't help but ...
