Blood Money

You crossed the river sticks, but it wasn't enough,
The waves have now taken you away
You did the unthinkable, and joined me on the other side
Freedom, at last, freedom
Caught up in the arms of a beautiful woman
You painted a beautiful picture
Two identical faces, carved by the angels
But a wrath so dark trailed underneath
To give what you could never receive was the thought that kept you alive
Ironic, isn't it, that it’s the reason you have died
What made you selfless made you selfish
But you really meant no harm
Only joy and riches were your intentions, ...
