Golden Rose

I've seen a golden rose where no rose grows higher
You found me
I'm so happy your mine
I wasn't out of my mind
You were my world

You weren't young
But you were strong
you were old
But worth gold
I was blooming and I was growing

I was learning the ways of flying
Without crying
But you were dying
I wanted to start crying
There was no lying

I stopped flying
I didn't see it coming
It was waiting
It was striking and in a blink of an eye you were dying
I freaked out

I was a terrified
It felt like I was tied when it knew I tried
My brain felt fried
It was like I was going blind
It knew you were worth billions to me

Everyday I saw you was like living a dream
That made us a team
I would do anything to relive those days with you
You made me the person I am today
The clouds in my future aren't gray

I'm not the prey
But I pray for you
You weren't any rose
You were my rose
When you died I was devastated

I choke on my own tears
But know your not suffering in pain any more
You were gone
I miss you
I think about you

I dream about you
And I love you
You were blessed before and after your death
Even though your gone
you were strong

Just like a mom
You were my all
My dearly gracious
Beautifully precious
Golden rose
