Why do tears roll down from your eyes
like a river, down the mountains they flow
As if sorrow has embraced you tight
as if dim light has cancelled your sight?

Why do you feel like you are a bird
unable to flap your wings up high
over those clouds as high as the sky
why do you feel like a brittle stone on the ground?

A simple smile from a lily won't bloom
who keeps the sadness silent under the moon
My dear little one, just drop that bag
of melancholy and tragedy you have on your back.

Dry your tears now and today
nothing in this world always comes your way
People pass but bear in you
That there is so much more in life than being blue.

Dear little one, I say now to you
things come unexpected, not always what you know
We'll be fine, time will come for things in life
